All-New Sandvik Alpha 330
Sandvik Construction proudly launches the All New Sandvik Alpha 330. To match the increased energy output from modern high-power rock drills in tunneling, Sandvik has brought further developments to the Alpha 330 – to deliver more-accurately collared, straighter holes, higher penetration rates and 30 to 80 percent more rod life – even in complex rock formations and uneven surfaces.
The drill string rod / bit connection features an entirely new thread design and the rod itself is of the well-proven Hex 35 section, with a T38 thread at the shank end.
Soft rock drill bits
Sandvik's new series of button bits for top hammer drilling is optimized to drill fast in softer and less abrasive rock. You get a high penetration rate due to conical buttons, which means more drill meters per shift. All bits are designed with frontal grooves and side flushing hole
