Continuous production is crucial in underground mining operations. One big boulder can bring the whole material flow process to a stop. With that in mind, Sandvik has developed a mobile secondary breaking rig that splits boulders without the use of explosives.

Sandvik DB120 is a completely new mobile secondary breaking unit, designed for safe breaking of oversized, low loose boulders. After drilling, boulders are split by hydraulic wedge. No explosives are needed.
