Fire protection of large diesel powered mining and construction equipment is essential for the safety of operators and environment, as well as for the protection of the vehicles.
The patented Sandvik Foam Fire Suppression System is a fixed fire protection system for mobile and stationary plant and equipment. It can be easily installed on any type of diesel powered vehicle, and with the exception of sub-zero temperatures, it is suitable for all climate conditions. By providing effective fire protection, and therefore safer operating conditions, the Sandvik Fire Suppression System greatly reduces risk of injury to people, property and environment.
